Platform is committed to storing and protecting your data in full compliance with GDPR regulations and will review this data policy annually.
Who We Are
Platform is committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of visitors to the web site. In particular, Platform wants you to know that Platform is not in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. In this Privacy Policy, there is a lot of detailed information on when and why Platform collects your personal information, how it’s used, the limited conditions under which it may be disclosed to others and how it’s kept secure.
Cookies
Like most websites, Platform’s website uses cookies to collect information. Cookies are small data files which are placed on your computer or other devices (such as smart ‘phones or ‘tablets’) as you browse this website. They are used to ‘remember’ when your computer or device accesses our websites. Cookies are essential for the effective operation of Platform’s website and to help you buy tickets online. They are also used to tailor the products and services offered and advertised to you, both on Platform’s website and elsewhere.
Google Analytics
When you visit www.platform-online.co.uk, Platform uses Google Analytics to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. Platform does this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. Platform does not make, and does not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
WiFi
Any information about monitoring of guest access wifi in your venue:
When you use Platform – CAFÉ Wi-Fi we may collect data about:
a) your device;
b) the volume of data which you use;
c) the websites and applications which you access; and
d) your usage by access time, frequency and location.
Mailing Lists
As part of the registration process for our monthly e-newsletter, Platform collects personal information. Platform uses that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about Platform’s programme; to contact you if additional information from you is required; to check records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. Platform doesn’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
Platform uses a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver the programme newsletters. Platform gathers statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to monitor and improve the e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing Platform’s info@platform-online.co.uk

You may, of course, purchase a ticket (or tickets) in person without supplying the aforementioned personal data. Please be assured that Platform does not share your personal details with any other company without your consent.
Our Partners and People We Work With
